Dustan and Alishia
Dustan and I met on a blind date, that neither one of us was sure we wanted to go on. The friend that set us up told me, "You'll go out, have a fun date, and you won't have to go out again." Well, looks like we went out again, 'cause here we are. I'm so thankful that both of us were willing to take that chance! Dustan is my BEST FRIEND and the BEST HUSBAND a girl could ask for. He is a WONDERFUL DAD to our four children and enjoys every moment that he spends with them.
Garrett
Garrett is our oldest at 16, and it has been a learning experience having a teenager in the house. Garrett is a very social guy and our phone rings off the wall when he is home. He loves football and wrestling and we love watching him. He has done very well in football, but he had to take a year off from wrestling because he had surgery to replace a ligament in his knee at the end of football season last year. He is looking forward to wrestling this year. Garrett works really hard to have a positive attitude and he is willing to do anything that is asked of him, even though it may not be what he wants to do at the time.
Brennan
Brennan turned 8 this year and was baptized a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He is our quiet kid. He is a great student and loves school. He really likes science and loves to watch Nova on PBS. He is a Cub Scout and has fun with the boys in his den. He also likes all sports and plays baseball, flag football, golf, swimming, tumbling and wrestling.
Natalie
Natalie is our little sweetheart. She is very loving and affectionate. She loves school and is in first grade. She is a great reader and really likes to do schoolwork. Coloring is also one of her favorite things to do; she will spend hours at the kitchen table with her crayons and paper. She played soccer this year and had a lot of fun. She loves her siblings very much and always tries hard to get along with them.
Lindsay
Lindsay is the baby and you know what they say about the youngest.....yes she is SPOILED! We try hard not to, but one look from her with her big brown eyes and we all give in! UGH! I know we are going to have a mess on our hands, but she really is so fun. Lindsay loves riding horses and has gotten in on all of the rides this summer. She has a little seat that fits on behind Dustan's saddle. She knows her alphabet and recognizes all but 2 of the letters. She loves using her flash cards and talks us into showing them to her several times a day.
